At our two bases in Italy, we provide a wide range of helicopters for pilot and technical personnel training, and we have all the necessary training facilities, including our own student hotel.

GLOBAL MOUNTAIN GROUP offers a unique approach to our courses and programs focused on personal growth and learning. We developed these courses in close collaboration with the French Legion between 2012 and 2017, and we are pleased to announce that we are back in action, ready to offer new challenges to participants.

One of our most exciting courses is the Extreme Jungle Survival, which takes place in the stunning French Guiana. This course is designed to prepare participants to face extreme situations and survive in a wild and rugged environment like the Amazon jungle.

​

During the 12-day course, participants will be fully immersed in the flora and fauna of the jungle, learning fundamental techniques for survival in such a hostile environment. They will be guided by experienced instructors who will share their knowledge and skills to help them overcome difficulties and adapt to an ever-changing context.

Participants will learn to identify and gather safe sources of food and water, build improvised shelters using natural materials, create and maintain fire, navigate through dense vegetation, avoid the hazards of wild animals, and manage medical emergencies that may arise in such an isolated environment.

Throughout the course, participants will undergo tests of physical and mental endurance, challenging their personal limits and developing greater confidence in their abilities. This unique experience will provide them with a valuable set of skills that they can apply in real survival situations or in other exciting challenges they may encounter in their lives.

Global Mountain Group is preparing a series of courses to be held at our new base, which we are setting up in Italy on over 100 hectares of land. We will offer various courses, with particular focus on those for demining operators and instructors. Among these, we will also include comprehensive training courses for Close Protection Officers (CPO), focused on ensuring the security of individuals and organizations. Our courses encompass both practical and theoretical training on a wide range of topics, including threat management, security planning and implementation, risk analysis, self-defense, and professional ethics.
